Counseling is about growing and changing. I have been fortunate to have worked alongside people and families for 14 years, as a licensed mental health counselor. I enjoy meeting people, hearing their stories and helping them create happier, healthier lives.
My professional interests include: attachment, grief, family change, ADHD, trauma and mood-related issues. I have worked in office, home, school settings. TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, Play Therapy, and EMDR and treatment modalities that I use to help clients meet their individualized treatment goals.. I utilize Adlerian solution-focused, client-centered, strength-based theories in my
practice.
My Partner...Georgia the Therapy Dog
Georgia is a 3 year old blue French Bulldog. She has been with me in training and practice, since she was 12 weeks old. She loves to play, snuggle and give sniffs. Georgia offers healing smiles, supportive acceptance and passionate greetings to every client, adding her own healing touch to each session.
